The lizard brain wants for you to fail, but ironically enough, it’s supposedly for your own survival. Over the years, we’ve evolved to seek safety. But conversely, over the past few decades, the economy has evolved to value the risk-takers the most.
Now we have a situation where we have evolved in the exact opposite direction as the opportunity. The next time you obsess over details, tell yourself that you’re too dumb, procrastinate, or make up any other excuse for not pursuing your dreams, know that you’re making it up. You can do what you want, and you can make a difference.
